Little Writers!

I never tire of reading kid writing. Never. There is nothing better than watching the purest application of all of those wonderful skills as seeing them putting pencil to paper and communicating all of those important thoughts and ideas - what could be better? Right now we are beginning a unit on Communication and Transportation, so we used these writing prompt pages about transportation today. The little bit of scaffold provided by the pictures and vocabulary is just enough to get them excited and started! The beginning of kindergarten can be so hard, but now it's time to reap the rewards and watch them grow as readers and writers! 

                         "I like to go the the balloon!"

                     "I ride on a school bus to go to a field trip!"
