Little Bird

Hello!  Thanks for taking time to visit my blog!
My name is Pam Davidson, I am the 'little bird' in Little Bird Kindergarten!
I have been teaching kindergarten in Phoenix, Arizona for 24 years!

I love coming up with new ideas,
tweaking old ideas, and engaging my
creative spirit.  I love the fresh
start every fall  August. I love the
inquisitive loving spirit of 5 year olds.
I love seeing the light bulbs
click on so many times over the
course of the school year.
I love children's books, and anything to do
with letters, words, chalkboards, and great new ideas!

Little Bird Kindergarten is inspired by the
book “Rocket Learns to Read” by Tad Hills.
When I began reading this book to my students some
years ago, they related themselves as Rocket, and me
as the “Little Bird”. It has always stuck with me, and so
I remain the Little Bird, in Little Bird Kindergarten.

I have a wonderful family that I love so very much.
They are my "Happily Ever After".
My husband, Derek is a UPS driver.
My son Kale (19) attends Embry Riddle Aeronautical University,
he is studying Global Security and Intelligence and plays on the golf team.
My daughter, Chelsea (18) is a Sr. in high school, and will
attend Northern Arizona University next fall to persue a degree in nursing.

This little bird is going to have a very empty nest come next August! :o(
